In India, the ICAI offers three levels of examination.

Final Exam Foundation Exam Intermediate Exam

The CA Foundation Course is an entry-level programme offered by the ICAI called the Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test (CA-CPT).

Foundation Course Eligibility:

After class ten, candidates are able to enrol for the Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test (CA-CPT). They can, however, take the exam only after passing class 12th with full coaching. CA coaching institute in Bangalore

Students from the Commerce and Science streams are eligible to apply for CPT.

Candidates must have completed 10+2 or 12th grade from a recognised institute or university. To be eligible for CPT, they must have completed the Commerce stream programme with a minimum of 50% overall marks.

Candidates from other streams must have a 55% aggregate excluding Mathematics and a 60% aggregate in 10+2 with Mathematics.

How to Become a Chartered Accountant After 12th Grade:

Candidates must first engage in CA Foundation courses.
They must finish a four-month study term and take the CA Foundation Examination. 
Candidates must enrol in the CA Intermediate Course after passing the CA Foundation. 
Before beginning the Articleship, candidates must complete the Integrated Course.
They must complete an 8-month CA Intermediate study course and take the two groups of examinations. (Candidates must pass at least once before proceeding).
They must enrol in a three-year article training programme and pass the remaining CA Intermediate Exam groups (if any).

Register for the CA Final Course.

Before taking the final test, they must finish the Advanced Integrated Course. 
They must take the final test either after completing the Articleship or within the last six months of it.
Candidates must pass the CA Final Exam.
To be labelled as a “Chartered Accountant,” students must join the ICAI.
Route Direct:
Candidates who meet the following eligibility requirements can enrol immediately in the CA Intermediate Course:
They must have finished a UG Commerce programme from a recognised institute or university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
Non-Commerce students can apply provided they have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their UG from a recognised institute.
